Keeping it simple

Sometimes, you get to design a flyer but, your assignment is to keep it simple so the message is relayed right away. The project shouldn't look too slick or design heavy. That might give the idea that the services offered in the flyer to be too expensive for the average person. I think this flyer is a happy medium. I hope it will stand out among the other handyman flyers. The business card is the companion piece.

Modern Design Image resource

This sight has great retro images including photography. I became nostalgic looking over the retro images. Everything from photos of cat figurines to printstock patterns. Some really cool stuff if you are going for the retro look.

My new business card

I am trying to have a cohesive look for my photography and displays when I got to shows. I think this is a step in the right direction. Now my card and banner match. I think it is important for people to recognize you and your branding.

Map of Dedham

This brochure project was a fun one. This is the final incarnation of the piece. This map is going to be given out to people who are unfamiliar to Dedham Square. They can find out what businesses are in town and there locations. I never knew how many businesses there were. I love to shop locally. The map illustration was done by Dedham resident,Peter H. Reynolds. He does wonderful illustrations for childrens books and alike.
