My recent project for the Nantucket Island Art school. This is a card that is going to be mailed out to potential donors and future patrons of the school.
I also designed a piece that the founder/director can write a personal note and enclose it in the envelope. I think it is great to send this at this time of year. It hopefully gets people to think about their summer plans

This is a poster for Dedham Square, It will be up at our new mall Legacy Place. This fun map and illustration is by the Children's Book Illustrator, Peter Reynolds. My part was small, just setting up the poster and adding the Dedham Square Circle logos. Even so it was a fun project and I really enjoy Peter's work.

Each of these designs features a word or phrase uniquely styled and hand lettered by Mark Simonson. The visual themes range from straightforward to ironic; from cryptic to obvious. Many are open to interpretation. Some may be mistaken for brand names or logos. Common to all the designs is Mark's enthusiasm for the expressiveness of hand lettering. - From Mark Simonson.
I think they are very clever

I have seen gadgets and flowers in these type of vending machines but not make-up. I thought it was a clever idea. The machine also featured demonstration videos. In case you needed any advice. This machine featured Mark Make-up, the pricing was quite reasonable and nicely displayed.

The bottom photo made me giggle. The box has instructions on how to assemble the do it yourself ice cream sandwich in three easy simple drawings, in case you don't know how.
